Walton Goggins lost his two front teeth as a child and now uses dental bridges and cosmetic care to have a bright, full smile.
Childhood Accidents & Loss
When Walton was in fifth grade, a baseball struck his mouth and knocked out his two upper front teeth. Later, about a year and a half after that, he dove into a shallow pool and hit his face, knocking those same teeth out again.
Because of these accidents, those front teeth could not be kept. He had to live without his original front teeth after that.
Teenage Years: Temporary Fixes
During his teenage years, Walton used a removable dental appliance (a kind of retainer) with false teeth in front, so that he would not show a gap when he smiled or talked.
This was not permanent, but it allowed him to function (eat, speak) more naturally during those years.
Permanent Dental Bridges
In adulthood, Walton got dental bridges to permanently replace the missing front teeth.
A dental bridge is a prosthetic device that connects to adjacent teeth and fills the gap. The false front teeth sit between natural teeth that act as supports.
Because of the bridge, his smile looks complete again, with no visible empty spaces.
Cosmetic Changes & Whitening
Over time, Walton improved his smile further by whitening and reshaping. His newer teeth are more even, straighter, and much whiter than before.
These cosmetic adjustments help the bridge look natural, matching the rest of his teeth.
Changes in Appearance Over Time

For acting, sometimes Walton must wear special prosthetic teeth above his normal dental work.
