Antar Babatunde Laniyan was born on May 26 in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. He studied at Baptist Secondary School in Lagos. He later went to the University of Ibadan, where he graduated in Theatre Arts.
Career
Antar began acting when he was in school, around 1976. He became a professional actor by 1981. His first big film role was as a “major general” in Everybody Wants to Know.
