According to Beach Gardens Police, Hiltebeitel tried to run for his life in the gardens of the golf course, shouting for help.
Witnesses saw Boucher chasing him before catching up near a pond. It is reported that Boucher used Hiltebeitel’s golf clubs to harm him and then forced him into the water, leading to his death.

Beach Gardens Police arrived at the Palm Beach facility and found a chaotic scene. Boucher was discovered naked and trying to run away.
Police stopped him using an electronic device. Chief Dominick Pape from Beach Gardens Police said the suspect had no valid reason to be on the golf course.
